![]() ![]() I don't like Mognet, but at least the game doesn't really make you go out of your way to get to a moogle. There's also a (tiny?) moogle hanging out in the middle of town. Whatever, you short little fucks, I can light shit on fire with my mind.Īnd this gnome tells me something I already know. Tozus is a place in Final Fantasy III, but it doesn't really contribute to anything else that happens in the game.Īnd this gnome is a dick. Soon after, we'll be leaving Tozus and never coming back. The gnome doctor is sick, and we'll have to deal with that because we're heroes. There's not much to do here, other than talk to the gnomes milling about. Gnome: No one can cure him, because he's the only doctor here! Physician, cure thyself, or we're doomed! Welcome to Tozus, the town of the gnomes! You can barely see Sephy's hat through the trees now. Mini leaves you with garbage as defence, so if you're in the front row and you take a hit, you're mulched. This is good, since Jecht only has a couple of Level 2 MP.Įveryone's in the back row, now. The game is nice enough to let you cast the spell on everyone simultaneously. Since I know where the town is, I hold off on casting Mini until I'm almost there. ![]() Now that I'm finished with the Healing Copse, I head to the woods. You probably won't be hanging around this area very often, but there you go. There are wellsprings to do everything you'd need to do (the one on the left there is a revival spring). The other thing the Healing Copse is good for is, gasp, healing. ![]() The gnome also has a different line if you do have a spare copy. I grab one here for every character who can use White Magic. The gnome here gives you a copy of Mini if you don't currently have one in your inventory. This isn't super useful, since there are a lot of woods there and it sure can suck to be wandering around, shrunk down, looking for the village and fighting monsters. Now we know that the village is in the southern woods. The Healing Copse is a nice little place if you need healing. There's something in these woods, before I head to the gnomish town. Everyone is strictly back row once it's mini time. As far as the row advice, Sephy and Golbez are still in the front row because we're still actual size right now. This is also why I made sure everybody was packing some spells. It's not strictly necessary to be, but it's a good idea. This is why everybody is a mage right now. You just stand around with your hands in your pockets or whatever. Really, trust me on this!ĭesch, you don't even go into most fights. And being in the rear line would also be good. At least, you'll be get to put the power you got from the crystal to good use. : You should change to a job that can use spells. This is why Mini is such a big deal, because Desch is right, we need to shrink down to enter. Yeah, our next destination is the gnomish town that's supposed to be around here. : Aww.I was hoping I wouldn't be the shortest kid for once. : You'll all have to shrink down to gnomish size with the Mini spell if you wanna go in, though! As soon as we've talked to Desch, of course. The game is nice enough that you can add and delete spells from your repertoire freely. It fills up his last second-level slot from now, but it's not going to be a permanent fixture. She is also worse than Sephy at magic, though she does have more MP.Īfter I put Kuja in the back row, I give Jecht the Mini spell I got from Desch. Her equipment gives her alright attack power for the moment, but she won't be using it either. He gets a little attack boost, but he won't be making use of it. Unfortunately, this puts him into the adjustment phase. Before I go anywhere, though, I need to make a couple of changes: Here we are, on the coast after we jumped off a mountain.
